## About Eramet

Eramet is a Paris-based mining and metallurgy group with operations on four continents. Manganese ore from Gabon has long been its backbone, joined by nickel from Indonesia, mineral sands from Senegal and, since 2024, lithium from a direct extraction plant in Argentina.

## Eramet's critical minerals business

Eramet is linked to manganese, nickel and lithium. Manganese ore from Moanda in Gabon goes mostly into steel and alloys, nickel ore from Weda Bay in Indonesia feeds the stainless steel and battery industries, while lithium carbonate from the Centenario project in Argentina's Salta province is destined for battery makers. Its lithium is extracted directly from brine, a process designed to be quicker and use less water than evaporation ponds.

## Where Eramet operates

Eramet's manganese comes from Moanda in Gabon, through its subsidiary Comilog, its nickel from Weda Bay on Indonesia's Halmahera island, and its mineral sands from the Grande Côte operation in Senegal. Its lithium plant is at the Centenario salt flat in Salta, Argentina.
