Data Usage

Last updated

We want Stockatomics data to be seen, quoted and shared, as long as it is credited. This policy explains what you can do with our charts, figures and pages, how to credit us and when you'll need a licence. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. What you can do

With credit, as set out in section 2, you can:

  • share charts and screenshots from Stockatomics in articles, research notes, reports, presentations, newsletters, videos and social media posts
  • quote individual figures, such as a benchmark price or a score, in your own writing and analysis
  • link to any public Stockatomics page
  • use what you find on Stockatomics in your own research and your organisation's internal work

2. How to credit us

  • Next to every chart or figure, write "Source: Stockatomics" and, wherever the format allows, link to stockatomics.com or to the page the data came from.
  • Charts exported from the Terminal carry the Stockatomics logo and a source line. Keep them visible and uncropped.
  • Show figures as they appear on Stockatomics, with their units and the date or data month they refer to. Don't change them in a way that alters their meaning.
  • If you redraw or restyle a chart, credit it as "Based on data from Stockatomics".
  • Don't suggest that Stockatomics endorses you, your product or your conclusions.

A credit can be as simple as: Source: Stockatomics (stockatomics.com), October 2026.

3. What needs a licence

Contact us for a licence before you:

  • download, scrape or copy our data in bulk, including complete tables, time series or datasets, by any automated or manual means
  • republish or redistribute our data, or whole pages, on your own website, app, database or feed
  • sell, sublicense or otherwise commercialise our data
  • use our benchmark prices or scores as a reference in financial products or contracts, such as indices, funds, derivatives or pricing agreements
  • use our data to build a competing data product, index or benchmark
  • use our data, pages or charts to train, fine-tune or evaluate artificial intelligence or machine-learning models, or to build datasets for that purpose
  • access our data through an API or any other automated feed

4. Search engines and AI assistants

Search engines and AI assistants are welcome to index our public pages and to quote short extracts in their answers, with credit and a link to the page. That permission doesn't extend to training models on our content or building datasets from it.

You may use the Stockatomics name and logo only to credit us as a source, as set out above. Don't alter the logo, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests a partnership or endorsement.

6. Licensing our data

If you'd like to use Stockatomics data in ways this policy doesn't cover, such as redistributing it, building it into a product or accessing it through an API, contact us at hello@stockatomics.com to discuss a data licence.

7. If something goes wrong

We may withdraw permission for any use that breaks this policy and ask you to remove our content or add the missing credit. A use that also breaks our Terms of Service may lead to your account being suspended.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. Questions about using our data: hello@stockatomics.com
