Hardest supply to expand (SES)
The higher the score, the slower supply responds to rising prices.
ResearchOverview
Every critical mineral and listed company, read the same way: how hard supply is to expand (SES), how concentrated it is (C), how fast demand is growing (DM) and how exposed each company is to all three (CMCS).
Each mineral has a Supply Elasticity Score (how hard it is for supply to keep up with rising demand), a supply concentration rating (how few countries hold world output) and a demand momentum (the growth it inherits from the sectors that use it). A listed company’s CMCS combines all three with its share of world output, and every mineral has a Stockatomics benchmark price in US dollars per kg contained.
The higher the score, the slower supply responds to rising prices.
Output share × SES × demand pressure × C, as a percentile of the scored companies.
Projected demand growth, % a year, with what each projection assumes.
Companies, start-ups, policies and events that could shift supply or demand.
Four scores and a benchmark price, measured the same way for every mineral and company: how hard supply is to expand (SES), how concentrated it is (C), how fast demand is growing (DM) and how exposed each listed company is to all three (CMCS). Every mineral has a Stockatomics benchmark price in US dollars per kg contained.
